¶ What is the New Year’s Eve Tournament?
The New Year’s Eve Tournament is a special holiday event on Bridge Champ, featuring two independent competitions running in parallel: one in MiniBridge and one in Bridge. You can join either tournament or both, play against the bots, compare your results, and enjoy a festive challenge to start the new year.

End Date: January 4
Boards: 12 per tournament
Format:
- 1 MiniBridge (IMPs scoring)
- 1 Bridge (MPs scoring)
- Both played with robots
Each tournament includes 12 boards — one for each month of the year, making it a fun and symbolic way to welcome the new year at the bridge table.
¶ How do I sign up?
Follow these steps to join the New Year’s Eve Tournament:
- Log in to your Bridge Champ account.
- Go to the Tournaments page.
On the platform you will see two separate tournaments:
- New Year’s Eve Tournament (Bridge)
- New Year’s Eve Tournament MINI (MiniBridge)
Select the tournament you want to play. Then click Play Now to start.

Can I play both tournaments?
Yes, you can play the MiniBridge (IMPs) and the Full Bridge (MPs) events.
Can I register after it started?
Yes, registration is open until the final minute of the event.
Can I leave and come back?
Yes, you're free to leave anytime. When you return, your table will reopen automatically.
How much does it cost?
Nothing, both events are completely free.
What is the level of the players?
All levels are welcome, from beginners to world champions.
Do I need to know any specific convention?
Only for the Bridge event.
MiniBridge does not require bidding, so no conventions are needed.
